My 4-step coaching strategy

Hi, I'm Brooke.
This is my coaching strategy and how working with me works!
Before I begin, we need to understand what happens when change occurs in our lives. A shift in our understanding of how life operates happens in one of the following ways:
-
Something sudden or unexpected takes place: A car crash, we get fired from a job, there's a sudden death of a loved one, or we face a natural disaster.
-
You've been planning something and now that event has occurred: Marriage, retirement, a baby, graduation, etc...
-
Growth: Something is moving you forward - a change in awareness or perspective, a call toward something bigger. Often, you're not sure where it's coming from, and it sounds like, "I really want to write that book," or "I need to start traveling!"
These events create a dynamic shift in the way we understand our lives. Prior to one of these occurrences, we have a specific way of being. We believe certain things, and we behave in certain ways. These events create a break in our old ways of participating with the world, and request something new, more truthful, and from deeper within. Everything we knew to be true yesterday, suddenly seems untrue today. This can feel very confusing, exciting, scary, and/or dreamy, which may cause us to try to go back to our old ways.... That never works because, no matter how hard we fight it, things will never be the same again.
What do we do now?
This is where I come in.
Following are the 4 steps to my coaching strategy:
-
We begin with body awareness. Our bodies are receptors of information. We are taught from a very early age to ignore that information (go to the bathroom prior to a road trip even though you don't need to; eat breakfast even when you're not hungry so you don't feel hungry later; kiss Aunt Edna). I will help you understand the information your body is sending to you. You'll recognize the ways you have personally learned to ignore that information, and you'll learn how to use it to guide your decisions moving forward.
-
We release old patterns that don't serve you any longer. We begin to discover what wants to happen next! You will try things out and realize they don't feel quite right. Then you'll readjust and try something else. This helps develop your own Self-Trust, which is a pivitol part of the coaching process. This all happens within you and can be deep work. Once you know that you can trust yourself and the decisions you are making, things begin to feel really simple. Decisions are easy. Relationships are easy. Life feels aligned and in flow.
-
You begin to bring these insights into the real world! Changes begin to take place simply because you know how to communicate effectively and kindly in every situation. You are able to get what you need from the people and resources around you. You understand why you feel (emotionally) the way that you do - and rather than ridiculing those feelings, you are able to use them to explore your intentions and desires!
-
In the final steps of our coaching relationship, you intuitively use these tools and techniques on your own. You know how to remain calm while navigating stressful situations. You're able to make small adjustments to working systems to make things in your life work even better. You no longer fear change because you know how change guides you toward a more authentic life filled with self-trust and integrity.
Three months is all you need to create a life that is filled with delight!
FINALLY.
